Liability for links: In its judgement 312 O 85/98 issued on 12 May 1998, entitled “Haftung für Links” (Liability for Links), Hamburg Regional Court (Landgericht Hamburg) ruled that if a link is provided to an external website, the owner of the website providing the link may also be liable for the content of the linked website.
